Polymer Engineering Center > Research > Sliding Plate Rheometer Development |
|
The Polymer Engineering Center develops new method for rheological measurements. We focus on property measurements which play governing roles in plastics manufacturing processes. We employ a sliding plate rheometer incorporating a shear stress transducer. Ideal for nonlinear viscoelastic property measurements (e.g., large amplitude oscillatory shear, exponential shear), our recent research focuses on improving the transducer dynamic response. |
